Baškovč Bakery: dynamic visual storytelling
The challenge
Baškovč Bakery is a Slovenian brand of pasta and tea biscuits. They wanted to move beyond static food photography.
While their products already had strong visual appeal, traditional still images were not enough to communicate the warmth, emotion, and everyday moments connected to their brand. The goal was to create storytelling-driven visuals that would feel alive, but also communicate the homemade, traditional feel.
Each image needed to include a dynamic human element, making the scenes more relatable, engaging, and emotionally memorable.
The solution
I developed a series of styled food photography scenes focused on movement, interaction, and real-life moments.
Instead of fully static compositions, each visual was built around a subtle action.
Movement as a storytelling tool
Every scene incorporated motion to create a sense of life and immediacy. Rather than simply presenting the product, the images captured it in use: mid-action, mid-moment.
Creating relatable human moments
Human presence played a central role in the storytelling. The goal was to subtly include people in a way that enhances the emotional connection. Moments were designed to feel natural, familiar, and warm, inviting the viewer to imagine themselves in the scene.
The result
The final visuals created a more dynamic and emotionally engaging brand presence for Baškovč.
By combining storytelling, movement, and human elements, the photography moved beyond static presentation and into a more immersive brand experience. The images became suitable for: social media storytelling, marketing campaigns, brand communication and product presentation with emotional context.
Most importantly, the visuals helped communicate how the products are experienced in real life.
